Annual Summer Picnic Honoring Arthur Grant

The Everson Summer Picnic and Everson Medal

The Everson Summer Picnic honors those who have been pillars of the community and have shaped Central New York through their gifts of leadership and strong conviction that art and creative expression enhance our quality of life. The Everson Museum of Art is pleased to announce that Arthur Grant will be the 2013 recipient of the Everson Medal.

The Everson Lifetime Achievement and Distinguished Service Volunteer Awards

The Everson is pleased to introduce for the first time two awards to recognize outstanding volunteer service. The Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to Sheila Goldie and Karen Williams, recognizes individuals who have served the Everson Museum in varied volunteer positions for more than three decades. The Distinguished Service Award, presented to Mary Iversen, recognizes a volunteer who has exemplified superb service to the Everson Museum.

Join us at the event of the summer as we celebrate the achievements of Mr. Grant, Ms. Williams, Ms. Goldie and Ms. Iversen. Under tents on the Everson Community Plaza, with views of the Everson's stunning architecture, we will enjoy festive fare by The Sherwood Inn & Phoebe's and the wonderful outdoor atmosphere of our cocktail hour by the fountains.

Festival of Trees

The Everson Museum of Art Members' Council presents the 28th Annual Festival of Trees. Decorated trees, wreaths and unique displays, donated by local organizations and individuals, will transform the Museum into a holiday wonderland. Live daily musical performances will bring this annual tradition to life. The sights and sounds of the holidays will fill the galleries and gathering spaces of the Museum.
