Stratford and Niagara-on-the-Lake: Theatre Trip
June 24 - 26, 2015
The Everson Trip Committee’s 2015 theatre trip will be June 24 to June 26 and offers a variety of plays and musicals certain to delight theatre-goers. Besides a visit to 2 charming communities, the trip offers 6 meals, including lunch at Queenston Heights, the Revival Restaurants, and The Prince of Wales, travel by Quality Coach, and lodging at the centrally located Queen’s Inn. A current passport or enhanced drivers license is required for travel to Canada. We will check that all travelers have one of these documents with them before departure. Please reserve your place on this trip by filling out a registration form.

Our July 9 day trip to Saratoga is the perfect chance to escape the city! Start the afternoon with lunch at the Gideon Putnam. Then, experience the New York City Ballet performances of Square Dance (Vivaldi & Corelli/Balanchine), ‘Rōdē,ō: Four Dance Episodes (Copland/Peck), and Western Symphony (Kay/Balanchine). This stunning ensemble of music and dance promises to be an unforgettable show.

July 26 - 30, 2015
The Everson Trip Committee is planning a trip to the Chautauqua Institute in 2015. The topic for the week is "Art and Politics." Lecturers will demonstrate how art is used in politics and to influence political processes using examples from music, fine art, photography, the digital world, comedy, satire and language. Don’t miss the July 28 trip to the Glimmerglass Opera. Our excursion includes a guided tour at the Fenimore Art Museum of Maxfield Parrish: The Art of Light and Illusion and Marc Chagall’s Magic Flute: Highlights from the Metropolitain Opera by Curator Paul D’Ambrosio.
