SYRACUSE, NY (January 19, 2016) - The Everson Museum of Art is excited to announce a fun evening for adults, as well as a concurrent children’s program, designed to allow parents to enjoy a night out on the town.
Salsa Night will take place on February 11 from 5.30 – 8.00pm in the Everson Museum’s Rosamond Gifford Sculpture Court. Adults are invited to spice up their Thursday evening with salsa music, dancing, wine and salsa tastings and art exhibitions. Participants can bring a dance partner or meet someone new on the floor! A guided tour of the upcoming exhibition, Helen Levitt: In the Street, will also be offered during the evening. Guests can enjoy a salsa tasting from The Mission and a wine tasting courtesy of Branch by Bellangelo. Glasses of wine or bottles will be available for additional purchase. Salsa Night is $10 for Everson members and $15 for non-members.
Kids’ Night Out, also taking place from 5.30 – 8.00pm on February 11, is designed specifically for parents who want to attend Salsa Night. Children will have a blast, meet new friends and enjoy a variety of art making activities, playtime, movies, stories and more to keep them engaged while parents heat up the dance floor.
